Source files used to create finished products are property of Dotson Design Studio, LLC. Dotson Design Studio, LLC can provide JPG, TIFF, EPS, PNG, or PDF file types to the customer at time of final payment for all final versions of the print products ordered if requested.
When hiring Dotson Design Studio, LLC to develop a website no matter what level or hosting provider, you are purchasing the time involved in developing the site as well as the site in its finalized hosting package. Website source files and access to Dotson Design Studio, LLC’s server are prohibited. Transfer of completed sites will be addressed on a case by case basis and is not possible for sites requiring a database (ie: ecommerce, event calendars, etc).
Dotson Design Studio, LLC does not allow third party access to content management systems. If Dotson Design Studio, LLC has to repair your site and or content management system after a third party has had access to it, you will be invoiced for the time to make those repairs and repairs will be completed as soon as possible in respect to Dotson Design Studio, LLC’s current workload.
Deposits are required to begin working on certain projects and are nonrefundable.
Dotson Design Studio, LLC will not be held responsible for incorrect information or content on printed materials or online marketing outlets including social media and websites. Print products will not be sent to press without final approval from the customer. Websites will not be uploaded to be viewed by the public without customers approval. Delay in proofing or payment will result in delay of product shipment, website upload, or the end result of other products.
