Experience
We know that several companies tout their many years in the industry, we are also proud of not only the amount of time we have dedicated to our line of work, but the many facets within what we do that we have experience in. Combined we have over fourty years of experience in information technology, website development and design, printing, photography and layout and design. More than half of those combined years have been with Dotson Design Studio. We have worked with a broad array of clients from an individual looking for invitations to a wedding or party to large websites for Visitors Bureaus or a large order of 25,000 magazines and booklets shipped out of state. No matter the size of the job, every opportunity provides a new experience and we love it!
Adaptability
With frequent changes in social media, mobile development, printing and web trends we are always improving and growing by learning new techniques and challenging ourselves. What worked when we started Dotson Design Studio 12 years ago, especially online, does not work now and we have ajusted our services and the way we develop and design to stay up-to-date with that ever-changing industry.

Lynette Dotson
Owner & Designer
Lynette has been working in field of design and marketing since 2002. She got her start as a graphic designer for Journal Community Publishing Group as a part-time designer who worked on advertisements. She rapidly advanced to a full-time role with the company creating specialty sections and publications. In 2007, just before the birth of her first child, Lynette resigned from her position to focus on her growing family. For about a year, Lynette worked as a freelance designer continuing to work on the layout and design of specialty publications until starting Dotson Design Studio, LLC in 2009. On a daily basis Lynette is the designer, content creator, and visionary behind a myriad of print marketing materials as well as the creative mind and layout director for most websites created by Dotson Design Studio. Lynette’s extreme attention to detail and passion for what she does has always been the driving force behind Dotson Design Studio.
Matthew Dotson
Web Developer & Designer
Matthew brings 25 years of experience to the Dotson Design Studio, LLC team. In the past, Matthew worked at Ruger Equipment as an engineering assistant and web developer, Wayne Dalton where he started as a drafting designer before advancing to an application engineer, Graphic Publications as a web developer and IT director, and Goodyear Tire and Rubber as a technical specialist. Matthew offers a wealth of knowledge in all things tech including the ability to code using twelve programming languages! Besides his technical expertise, Matthew contributes his creative talents to Dotson Design Studio in various ways including logo design and illustration, photography, sign design, and website design.
MILESTONES THROUGH THE YEARS
AWARDS AND NOMINATIONS
Our first big website, created in 2010, was for Historic Roscoe Village in Coshocton Ohio. The website was extremely interactive and attracted a lot of attention which paved the way for more business in Roscoe Village. Not long after other destinations wanted to work with us including Dickens Victorian Village in Cambridge, Fort Steuben in Steubenville, Destination Dresden, Clary Gardens in Coshocton, and more recently the Windmill Farm and Craft Market in Penn Yan, New York, Visit Fairfield Ohio and Visit Coshocton Ohio. We have been fortunate to work with these amazing organizations through the years in the travel and tourism industry.
